45hz048 – TMSV – Stress/Lost – [Box Clever]

Continuing his string of hit releases for 2012, TMSV drops another stellar 12″ on Black Box imprint Box Clever. The A-side “Stress” begins with a half-time intro that soon gives way to Latin-infused percussion and hypnotizing vocal samples reminiscent of “Moments In Love” or Mala’s “Changes”. This tune would not sound out of place on Deep Medi.
On the flip, “Lost” is a straight-up dub influenced roller with a suffocating b-line and cinematic synth work. Top notch work from TMSV – tunes you can listen to from start to finish, or drop in the middle of a set.
Two truly wonderful pieces of music.
